Make sure that your Internet connection is working properly. Try to browse the web. If you can't do it, please contact yout Internet connection provider or your net administrator. You are experimenting a connectivity issue, and you may also have problems in other Internet related activities.

Make sure that any antivirus or firewall software is blocking your email client software (Microsoft Outlook or any other). To verify tha this is not happening, turn off your antivirus or firewall software and try to send and receive email. In case you are able to do it, then the problem was this. Tell your antivirus or firewall software to trust your email client software.

In case that none of the previos soultions worked properly, please check that your email account configuration is correct. You can check the technical support documents in the left menu of this page.

If all the above solutions didn't work, please try to check your email trough our webmail application at http://webmail2.ysi.net. If you are able to send and receive email trough webmail, this means your account is working properly and you've got some problem with your email client software. Please check your software help.
